Every Citizen has a legal right to file a factually correct and truthful complaint with the concerned authority. In case of any matter in which Andaman & Nicobar Police is authorized to act, one may file a complaint through the following ways: -

- In case of any Crime related complaint/ Traffic related complaint/ Economic offence related, one may call the Andaman & Nicobar Police Control Room No. 100.
- In case of any Crime related to Women & Child one may call the Andaman & Nicobar Police Control Room No. 100 or the Women & Child Helpline – 1091 & 1098 or may complaint to the inspector Women & Child Support Unit.
- Also, one may complaint to the concerned area Police Station or Police Post. However, if one is dissatisfied with the response of the Police Control Room, Police Station or Police Post then one may complaint to the concerned Sub-division Police Officer, SP, DIG, IGP, DGP/Andaman & Nicobar. - The citizens can also submit their written complaint at the Public Window established at the ground floor entrance of Police Headquarters, Andaman & Nicobar. The citizens would be given a public window complaint number on the spot.
